These two British heavyweights are on a collision course that could become one of the biggest all UK fights in years, on top of being a world heavyweight title unification fight to boot.

Lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and IBF titlist Anthony Joshua have met in the ring before, as it turns out, when they sparred behind close doors a few years back.

The two have been involved in some online banter as of late, with the now usual tirade of words from Tyson Fury towards Joshua and his promoter Eddie Hearn becoming an almost weekly occurrence at this point, although Joshua did recently bite back to some of the verbal exchanges labeling the heavyweight champion a:

“Fat boy.”

Trash talking aside, an actual fight between the two heavyweights is a very real prospect if both get past their upcoming next tests in the ring, and an intriguing tale from Joshua has been revealed on what happened between both men in the past when they did square off.

Although the two may have had very different journeys as pro fighters thus far, they apparently share a very common fighting spirit as detailed when they went toe to toe one day in the gym according to Joshua, who spoke on what actually happened today with Sky Sports:
