American heavyweight prospect Da’Mazion Vanhouter knocked out Raphael Akpejiori in the first round at Garcia vs Benn, improving to 13-0 with 10 KOs and proving he’s the best young heavyweight in the country.
Those that said that the USA had no heavys coming through in the heaviest division in boxing have been proved incorrect.
There are plenty of emerging names and stars coming through, Da’Mazion Vanhouter being one of them in boxing results a short time ago.
Here are some notes on the victory a short time ago in Vegas and more on those not familiar yet;
- Vanhouter needed less than one round to KO Akpejiori for his 13th pro win
- The 21-year-old American prospect now sits at 13-0 with 10 knockouts
- He hurt his shoulder early but fought on
- The fight was on the Garcia vs Benn undercard in Las Vegas on Paramount+
- He started his career at 154 pounds before climbing to heavyweight
- He wants a future “mega-fight” with the no longer undefeated British star Moses Itauma
Solid victory tonight and another emerging player in the heavies.
The straight right hand did the big damage on his opponent tonight. Solid victory.
Some solid scraps tonight, Ryan Garcia brother Sean Garcia also had been in action earlier.
Not long to go shortly until Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn at this point, coming up shortly.
