Jai Opetaia the cruiser champion in boxing from Australia returned to action in boxing tonight on the undercard of Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn.
The Aussie has made the move to America for a bit at this point and got the victory tonight as expected against someone he should have been beating anyway.
Thirty-one-year old Opetaia stepped in there against thirty-five-year-old Norair Mikaeljan from Armenia a short time ago and got the job done by TKO.
He got hurt in the fight at one point though, caught by a big right hand flush, proving he can be hurt by not very accomplished fighters also.
The victory improved Opetaia’s professional boxing record to 31-0-24 KO tonight in Las Vegas.
One of the best cruisers on the planet but not exactly very impressive tonight, he got the job done inside the distance in the end in round nine.
