Some of the Errol Spence vs Tim Tszyu face off with Shawn Porter asking the questions has offered intriguing viewing pre fight.
Spence is getting ready to fight on July 25th in the big fight in Australia this month but has been very laid back all training camp this one.
That has not changed now that he is on the ground in Australia.
People have been asking him how was retirement and so on over there — because of the layoff he took from boxing being so long.
Over three years since the Terence Crawford fight in fact since he last boxed.
He has kept bringing up how people thought he was retired going into the fight and almost seems like he is still in retirement mode with all that jargon and talk.
For a prize fighter to go from boxing one of the best pound for pound boxers of his time three years ago against Terence Crawford, to be only now boxing again, is bad.
It is beyond shocking. It really is.
His body language and tone in his pre fight sit down with Tszyu looks like he has no edge to him as well. No buzz about him. Flat.
He has always been a bit laid back but this is over the edge and to come back to boxing after all this time, only now, some things are abundantly clear now.
We think Spence was in fact actually retired from boxing after that Terence Crawford stoppage defeat three years ago.
He looks mentally to not have switched on again — back out of retirement mode since. That is what is coming across mentally to us in that sit down.
He is swimming with a great white shark in Australia in the form of Tim Tszyu and a man who is well prepared to cause a big bite and attack in the eyes of some.
Don’t be shocked if Tim Tszyu wins next weekend.
Errol Spence Jr is in deep waters now in a land down under.
