Jaron Ennis is at last by all accounts having discussions on a genuinely dangerous fight and big name bout in boxing.
Xander Zayas who he conquered at the weekend was a game fighter and rugged, entertaining at 154 pounds champion and had guts.
But he was one of the lesser known and lesser world champions of today’s times in boxing in general.
Jaron Ennis knocked him out in seven rounds but was caught many times and hurt by him as well.
Now Ennis is in talks for a possible fight with 154 pounds champion Sebastian Fundora.
At a date to be determined and there is no telling when the fight may or may not happen but it is a great one at some point.
Fundora would tower over him like he does everyone in the division and has fought great names and beaten the likes of Keith Thurman and Tim Tszyu.
As well as stopping Erickson Lubin as well back in 2022.
So this represents a great fight for Ennis and by far a more tough fight than a Xander Zayas fight.
The fact that there is even talks for this bout is very encouraging and at last US boxer Jaron Ennis and his team are looking to take on a big and dangerous fight.
At long last.
Nothing confirmed but let us see who Jaron Ennis actually fights next — or whom he tries to at least.
