Another possibility emerges for Manny Pacquiao

Another possibility emerges for Manny Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao is still in talks apparently for a Floyd Mayweather rematch as he returns to proper boxing training this week.

Pacquiao knows if his next professional boxing match is to be his last one in the sport, he must be mentally and physically right.

At 47-years-old he must be absolutely spot on and trained properly with the appropriate few months training in place.

He cannot take either a Floyd Mayweather rematch of a possible world title fight lightly.

He knows this.

His next fight will be his last one as a professional boxer if in fact he has one at all.

With Floyd Mayweather in turmoil in the US it is looking more and more likely Filipino boxing legend Pacquiao will need another opponent.

Boxing’s only eight-weight division world champion Manny Pacquiao has plenty of options.

Another one has come about all the way from Australia.

30-year-old welterweight world champion Liam Paro from Queensland.

Paro had a solid win during the week in boxing to win a world title defeating Lewis Crocker of the UK on Wed this week.

Paro’s promoter wants to try to tempt Pacquiao to come to Australia to fight for a world title there now.

If Manny Pacquiao could basically beat Mario Barrios last year in a world title fight only for the judges to rule it a draw, he can beat Paro.

Boxing ability-wise Pacquiao is in a different universe to Liam Paro.

If the Mayweather rematch falls through due to Floyd Mayweather’s issues — the Liam Paro fight could be interesting for Pacquiao.

One last world title fight at 47.

Manny Pacquiao turns 48-year-old on December 17th of this year.

His current professional boxing record is 62-8-3, 39 KOs.
