The Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao fight has not been confirmed yet and the Filipino needs to look at options now.
Of course there are plenty as always for Manny Pacquiao.
Still a big name and draw in the sport even after all these years and at his advanced age of 47.
It was only last year he rolled back the clock to nearly won the world title when he drew with Mario Barrios.
In a world title fight at welterweight last summer.
No one thought that was possible and since then everyone was waiting for the Mayweather fight — but it has not been made official.
Mayweather on his side is in Greece right now for a boxing exhibition and has not confirmed the fight with Pacquiao yet.
Pacquiao could fight the likes of anyone in and around welterweight or catchweights nearby against the likes of Shakur Stevenson, Devin Haney, Teofimo Lopez and others.
There is the likes of Jaron Ennis there for Pacquiao as well and the likes of Brian Norman Jr and others too.
But surely Pacquiao will only go after either a big name or a world title fight at this point.
He is 47 now at the end of the day and surely only has one fight left as a pro fighter, maybe none though if no Mayweather or whatever happens.
So is he going to try to force the Mayweather rematch, get another big name or fight for a world title somewhere?
Those would be the most possible options now.
Vergil Ortiz is another name for Pacquiao.
Even Rolly Romero might be another option for Pacquiao — let us see what happens Pacquiao.
Pacquiao has done it all in boxing and life but should try to pursue only the biggest fights or a world title fight is Mayweather folds.
