Ryan Garcia Next Fight 2026 Not Confirmed Yet

Ryan Garcia Next Fight

The Ryan Garcia next fight 2026 announcement was thought to be Conor Benn but Garcia is all over the place.

Recently on Jimmy Fallon Garcia actually announced that Conor Benn would be his next opponent and even gave a date for the fight in September.

He’s literally in the last 24 hours back peddled on that completely and referred to that fight as a ‘potential opponent’.

That shows you how all over the place he is. Only before his last fight with Mario Barrios on fight week he said he was leaving Oscar De La Hoya, as well, then afterwards apparently he is still boxing with him.

Here’s more of what we now have heard from Garcia this week:

On the potential Conor Benn fight:

  • He said he has a potential fight with Conor Benn and that he and his manager are looking at working out the details.
  • He said he could say that he’s going to fight September 12th in Vegas, but the opponent is a question mark… there’s a slight asterisk on it.

On turning down Jake Paul’s big money offer ($15-20M):

  • On previously with Jake Paul he said he never got to where he is by chasing the bread he claimed.
  • He said he really just wanted to win a world championship and that he thought that mattered more to him and everything worked out in the end even better.

On his past regrets (chasing money):

  • Gervonta Davis fight he said the money at the time swayed him to sign up to certain clauses.
  • Rolly Romero fight (which he lost): He said he wasn’t in a good place at all and he was extremely overweight and that he just took the money because he needed it.

On his responsibility as a Champion:

  • He said he will fight everyone when all the terms are equal and fair. He claimed he will fight anybody.

On the viral body shot challenge he is doing with influencers lately:

  • He said everybody wants to get hit to the body and it is a craze in America.

So look, basically the Conor Benn fight isn’t done yet.

If Garcia and his manager are smart they can get him five times the money instead for fighting Devin Haney in a rematch in a unification of world titles at welterweight instead.

Ryan Garcia has been all over the place lately — attacking MMA fighters and more.
