Ryan Garcia was on ESPN on TV this week and he it was intriguing to here Ryan Garcia on Tank Davis and the defeat he had to him years later now.
After his suspension from boxing and now in 2026 after his points win recently against Mario Barrios.
He said during the time of the Tank Davis fight that boxing was in a bad place.
He went on to claim that no one wanted to fight each other and that everyone was ducking and protecting their records.
He said at the time he took the fight on Davis’ terms and made it happen fast because of that.
He added that the result didn’t go his way but he had to dust himself off and prove himself again.
He went on to note that if a rematch with Tank happens he will do it on equal terms with him going in and that he is a world champion now and brought up what has Gervonta Davis been doing lately.
