Errol Spence return after Crawford loss will have ‘Bud’ beating still in his mind

Errol Spence return after Crawford loss will have 'Bud' beating still in his mind

The Errol Spence return after Crawford loss soon will still be in his mind three years on after their fight in boxing after their bout. Learn why.

Spence comes back soon into the boxing ring three years on after Crawford TKO’d him.

He was outboxed, out smarted and out fought on the night.

To go straight back in to a fight with Tim Tszyu is courageous but the Crawford demon will still be there mentally, here’s why:

  • Spence lost to Terence Crawford by 9th-round TKO on July 29, 2023.
  • Crawford dropped Spence 3 times: rounds 2, 7, and 7 again before the stoppage.
  • Crawford out-landed Spence 185-96 total punches.
  • All 3 judges had Crawford ahead 79-70 at stoppage.
  • Spence admitted he needed a “mental break” after the Crawford loss.
  • Spence said the 3-year layoff gave him clarity: “I’m okay with or without boxing.”
  • Spence called the 3-year layoff “scary” after being in the gym 24/7.
  • He told media: “I already got my right foot hanging out the door… You never  know.”
  • Spence said he needed the break after the car accident and eye injury too.
  • BoxingNewsAndViews.com (ourselves) said the “beating from Crawford will tell a bad story for  him soon.”

The only way he can get rid of that is by winning against Tszyu.

Crawford is retired now and is gone from boxing.

We don’t think he’ll be back and that’s it for him and boxing.

So, Spence will be looking to get rid of that loss by the only way possible soon — somehow defeating Tim Tszyu.

If Errol Spence gets whopped next up he should retire — plain and simple.
