Wardley the WBO heavyweight champion recently was said to have a screw loose by former heavyweight contender Derek Chisora.
Fabio Wardley returns to action this weekend in a heavyweight title defense and fight against former champion Daniel Dubois.
The final press conference took place before the fight a short time ago.
On Chisora’s comments Wardley said a short time ago:
“It takes one to know one. I take it as a compliment from him because he’s one of the people at the top of that list. Maybe I’m a close second behind him but I’ll take it (as a compliment). But I think most of us that are in this job, we are missing a few marbles. Maybe me and him are missing a few more than most.”
On the contrary, Wardley comes across as very together and relaxed since becoming champion.
Far from unstable like someone as Chisora, who apparently is retired now that Deontay Wilder defeated him recently.
Chisora is certainly done at the highest level of heavyweight boxing.
The Daniel Dubois chin will be tested this weekend by the big hitting Wardley — and visa versa.
Expect real mayhem this weekend in the fights.
