The reaction to the decision in the sport seems to be on point with most in agreement worldwide.
Naoya Inoue defeated Junto Nakatani by UD on points in a huge fight in Japan to warrant this while heavyweight champion Usyk fights an unknown kickboxer this month.
That was the thinking behind the decision. Simple. Here’s some of the reaction:
At the end of the day Usyk is taking a bogus fight this month which he will easily win.
That wasn’t the case with Inoue. He stepped in there with a very dangerous opponent, a fellow P4P rated fighter and a multi-weight world champion in boxing — in the form of Nakatani.
The decision stands.
