Is David Benavidez most dangerous when there is more on the line in his fights in boxing. Perhaps.
Perhaps yes.
Perhaps not.
We would lean a little more to the former than the latter. Towards column A in that sure, he does up it a little bit when there is a bit more added to the occasion in his fights and he better be careful for what he wished for soon enough.
Heck. He’ll have never seen anything like it. He can’t even imagine what is going to come at him.
That’s in boxing Gilberto Ramirez of course.
A fully fledged cruiserweight world champion whom alright, Benavidez knows all about having sparred with him a lot over the years. But put that aside, sparring is sparring like we mentioned before and on the night an actual world professional title fight all the way up cruiserweight will hit him different.
He has prepared though and we think he might be actually a little more dangerous up at cruiserweight against Ramirez not necessarily because of him being more fresh because of not having to drain himself to make weight.
Nor the occasion of it being Cinco De Mayo weekend energizing him which it possibly will in front of Mexican fans.
Both could be at play but more than anything that sometimes overly aggressive fight style of Gilberto Ramirez might in fact play into the hands of David Benavidez a touch we think.
Styles make fights in boxing at the end of the day and this is usually more often than not one of the most important things in boxing to be mindful of when it comes to big fights in boxing.
If Ramirez is too gun heavy in slinging his big bombs against what should be a very fast and an even more powerful and better gas tank than ever David Benavidez, then he might be in a little trouble.
Another variable in the mix here on Saturday as well is although ‘Zurdo’ is the champion at cruiserweight in the fight David Benavidez is the much bigger name in boxing in America and also worldwide at this point.
So, this will add a little bit of further pressure on Benavidez.
The fans in there in Vegas will surely be more for him on the night given he is based out of Arizona and that’s right next to Vegas so he should be the more well supported boxer.
That’s something that might kick him up the backside a little bit as well in terms of geeing him up even further for the fight and at least trying to throw even more heavy leather from round one.
Is David Benavidez most dangerous when there is added inferno in the fire for him in bigger and tougher fights?
Sure.
Let’s see what happens him in it.
Roll on.
