His new promotional company is already up and running with good prospects.
Most of them are Ukrainian professional boxing prospects but you’d imagine Usyk being Usyk, having travelled the world over, he will sign many international prospects and contenders to his new promotional company in time.
For now it looks like a prospects roster he is building but difficult to say at the same time.
Usyk along with Glen Johnson (former light-heavyweight world champion) are possibly the two best road warriors that ever lived. They travelled the world and won all over in the East and West.
In Usyk’s case even staying undefeated and moving up to become the heavyweight champion of the world even.
So you’d think Usyk will internationalize his promotional company a bit at some point.
Given the fact he really is a true world champion. Having battered opponents, champions and contenders all over the world for many years.
If Usyk really wants to do big things in America Andy Ruiz remains a huge name in the US in particular.
It is thought Ruiz has now signed with Zuffa Boxing basically and if Usyk were to either sign with Zuffa or collaborate with them via his own new promotional company, this is an easy fight to make.
He could then fight potentially Deontay Wilder later in the year if Wilder won against Usyk and those would be two big names in America for him.
As he looks to do more stuff in the US after boxing.
Some have said recently his team have even had talks with BKFC bareknuckle boxing in the US as well.
All this said, we now know Usyk takes on this kickboxer next up in his next fight.
All the above still relevant and he can choose many options after the next fight in 2026 this year.
