Now That Boxing Is Hot Again What Espn Can Do

ESPN Fight Nights and ESPN Deportes still regularly show live boxing.

ESPN has been getting rid of the rubbish from its boxing in recent years like Bob Arum and some other stuff.

However, the company still has a solid little live sports inventory stack for pro boxing in Latin, central and South America as well as the occasional live boxing event in the US on Fight Night as well.

ESPN are still the world’s leader in sports media of course and will be for the time ahead and they are waking up to the dreadful Stephen A. Smith soon all the time.

As is the audience.

Americans and international sports fans have grown tired of his insincere, easy to see through, labored work not only in boxing but all pro sports.

They can easily dump him as well.

The opportunities in the US for them in boxing of course are there in a now crowded market place but just because Zuffa Boxing, the UFC and Paramount Plus are there, doesn’t mean ESPN cannot come in for the occasional big fight here and there.

They could, say, if they wanted, venture in and out of the sports for big fights and bid on them for their ESPN plus app specifically for the US boxing audience.

A now flourishing and growing strongly one with a reducing in age demographic with more young American men and women (thanks to Claressa Shields) aged 18 to 30 tuning into boxing again more and more.

ESPN are astute people and will see this and they know how the power players and best people are in boxing.

And part of the reason why so many official governments and major corporations want to be associated in some way with the sport’s success.

All driven by the best fighting the best.

Even if they wanted to bid on the occasional big heavyweight Usyk title fight or whichever.

They can do this.
