That would launch Stevenson up the pound for pound rankings for us. Into the highest tier most possibly.
He would need to really put his foot on the gas in round one with Lopez however. Outbox him and bust him. Properly. Break him down.
Then either win on a wide UD points decision. Or inside the distance.
If either of those are achieved then yes. We will expect a Shakur Stevenson p4p jump in the rankings.
Whacky oftentimes Teofimo Lopez will try to do something about that. He will at least try.
We think though he is coming in there with a genius in Stevenson who is in no mood for Lopez’ theatrics in the build-up or social media.
