Some that this was not real but rest assured, it is, very, very real. Mike Tyson vs Floyd Mayweather is happening — read that again.
It is set to break all records in boxing and beyond in sport for everything basically, bigger than Mayweather vs Pacquiao, Mayweather vs McGregor, Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua, all of them.
Mike Tyson vs Floyd Mayweather
It was announced back in September originally on the pair’s social media but now Tyson has gone further to say the fight will be in Africa and will take place in March.
It will be an exhibition. No confirmation on weight or catch weight yet.
That will surely sell out a stadium somewhere in Africa.
Here’s a look at how many people worldwide could watch it on Netflix for instance:
Some quick observations:
Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson averaged 108 million live global viewers on Netflix.
Peak concurrent streams hit 65 million worldwide.
Total households reached: ~60 million live.
Including replays, viewership rose to 125 million.
No Tyson vs. Mayweather fight has happened or is confirmed on Netflix but they would be the front runner.
It is reasonable to assume Mayweather vs Tyson could reach 200 million global viewers on Netflix at least.
Recently Tyson met up with Conor McGregor and continues to conquer pretty much everywhere he goes worldwide.
This is simply another inevitable chapter of success and victory for ‘Iron’ Mike.
Same for Mayweather.
