As TKO gets started soon in the sport of boxing signing fighters at some point there will be other ways to get them off the ground.
Like ESPN relied on Conor McGregor to get their ESPN plus app off the ground some years ago, when McGregor got them a huge amount of signups at the time when their new app was struggling, the UFC will surely look to that thinking soon.
In that, TKO Boxing which is started by Turki Alalshikh and UFC President Dana White, had their first boxing event recently with Canelo vs Crawford and UFC fight pass had been showing some boxing as well.
Now it is thought the new UFC Paramount deal will also show professional boxing cards as well.
8 Boxers Conor McGregor Could Box If TKO and UFC Use Him On A TKO And Zuffa Boxing Card
Although the inner workings are not known, if the UFC really wanted to propel TKO and Zuffa Boxing at some point they could get fight star Conor McGregor in a boxing match on one of the shows to do so.
It looks like he will fight UFC next up at the big White House event next summer but after that, they could put him in a boxing match later in the year potentially.
Here’s eight possible opponents:
Jake Paul – McGregor finally shuts up the YouTuber in a grudge match.
Logan Paul – Prime vs. Proper Twelve explodes under boxing rules.
KSI – Trash-talk kings settle it with McGregor’s left hand.
Manny Pacquiao – Legend vs. legend, speed vs. power in Manila 2.0.
Floyd Mayweather – Long-awaited rematch, McGregor chases revenge.
Canelo Alvarez – Irish fire meets Mexican steel in a mega-PPV massacre.
Ryan Garcia – Social media stars trade bombs until one drops.
Gervonta Davis – Tank’s power meets McGregor’s precision in a banger.
Time will tell of course.
Certainly TKO is due to really get going in boxing soon enough.
On McGregor, some boxers in the UK look like they are taking inspiration from his early days UFC mentality in their approaches in boxing now.
