Joseph Parker has tested positive for cocaine it has been revealed on the day of his most recent fight against Fabio Wardley of the UK.
A surprise bit of news considering Joseph Parker’s career was going so well, he was flying high under trainer Andy Lee.
He still can of course but for now things are on hold for him.
That is a recreational drug and not a performance enhancing one so maybe there will be a slap on the wrist for this.
Other than hurting himself or potentially killing himself, it wouldn’t have made him in anyway a better fighter on fight night.
If anything, that explains the loss to Wardley, it would have diminished Parker’s fighting ability, speed, timing and power considerably.

One-Month Ban: Further cut with substance abuse program completion.
No ban — possible fine from fight purse instead.
