How Ufc Might Promote Boxing With Paramount Deal

The New TKO Boxing promotion is primed to get started in professional boxing lead by Turki Alalshikh and UFC President Dana White.

Their first event in boxing for Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford on Netflix was a big success. The fight was good where Crawford put on a vintage boxing display to make the impossible possible.

That in itself captured the planet’s attention. Live on the biggest streaming platform on Earth, Netflix.

The UFC confirmed recently their new multi billion dollar Paramount streaming deal and it is understood, that Zuffa Boxing, which is affiliated with TKO Boxing, will also use the Paramount deal to stream live big boxing matches.

Some have claimed that Dana White and TKO could sign close to 200 or more boxers soon.

If that’s the case, that’s great, but not a lot are talking about yet how much time he will put into both boxing and the UFC.

How UFC Might Promote Boxing With Paramount Deal

And how the UFC might promote professional boxing as well, in terms of the output of the deal onto the boxing product for TKO and Paramount.

UFC Fight Pass which is a powerful platform in itself, already shows boxing like Calum Walsh’s fights and others.

This can still be used in association with Paramount to show big boxing matches by live streaming them online for fans worldwide.

They could split the budget 50/50 for boxing and UFC, or maybe they won’t. Maybe they will give slightly more to UFC but boxing is a bigger sport than MMA (mixed martial arts) worldwide now and to sign 200 plus high level prospects and contenders or even world champions in professional boxing will not be cheap.

They will need to make sure the maximum amount of people see the fights not only so the money is good for the players involved commercially and the boxers, but also so the distribution of the fights matches or beats the competition.

Soon enough more should be known in hos exactly the UFC might also get behind this new venture into professional boxing.

Of course, Netflix will also be involved, the number one commercial streaming company in the world for some fights on TKO.

So maybe it won’t be an exclusive deal for TKO to show fights only on Paramount, soon enough the sport will have a new day and a better one than the dying demographics and old people that were watching boxing some years ago.

More new fans, a bigger audience and better demographics will increase the revenue in boxing and create better fights for fans, where the best fight the best on a more consistent basis.

Here’s why TKO can be the new HBO of boxing if they play their cards right.
