Joe Rogan knows MMA and the UFC like the back of his hand but not many realize he knows boxing better than most boxing fans in the world.
So much so he could definitely commentate in professional boxing matches if event organizers hired him, without question he would be capable.
His insights into boxing on his show ‘The JRE Experience’ over the years have been excellent.
As well as getting on world champion boxers many times on the show.
Joe Rogan Makes Huge Usyk Call
Speaking on his world leading podcast recently he said the following on current undisputed heavyweight kingpin Oleksandr Usyk:
“I was watching a video today about Oleksandr Usyk’s training. Have you seen that fight? My goodness, that was incredible. I mean, he’s one of the best of all time—one of the absolute greatest heavyweights to ever live.”
That’s a big shout from Joe Rogan but some will agree with him after his recent fight.
The Daniel Dubois rematch was meant to be the most dangerous fight of his career — instead he took an improved, younger Dubois, out inside the distance.
The new generation is now chasing Usyk — but Usyk is chasing greatness.
That’s the difference.
