UK boxing warrior Dillian Whyte is back in a big fight already next up and not many realize he was in line for two even bigger fights.
Whyte is without doubt one of the toughest grittiest fighters from the UK heavyweight division of the last decade or so.
He wasn’t great in recent years but is back training well now by all accounts and takes on young UK dangerman Moses Itauma next up on August 16th.
Not many realize that Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker were both fights being talked about for Whyte recently.
Speaking to IFL TV Whyte said:
“Anthony Joshua was doing something else and was injured. Parker was messing around, and Moses was a wild card. They told me to say no, but I said yes right away. I thought it was the best option.”
Whyte was also talking to the UK’s Chisora recently and is still in the mix of meaningful fights.
Depending on how he gets on next up will tell a lot.
Interesting to see who Chisora fights next and will it actually be his final fight.
