Fellow stablemate to him in Mexico, Canelo Alvarez and training partner Jaime Munguia, whom share the same coach, has seen the former react to the latter’s big news.
Not great news and concerning but important to remember it is only an adverse finding found in Mexican knockout artist’s recent anti-doping test following his rematch with Bruno Surace (which he won on points).
Following the news that his A sample had adverse findings, his stablemate who also trains with Eddy Reynoso (one of the world’s best trainers) said via Salvador Rodriguez of ESPN Latin America on the X platform – Spanish to English translation as follows:
“We believe in @jaimemunguia15 , who will surely clarify this soon. And what I want you to be very clear about is that @CANELOTEAM isn’t giving him his supplements; Eddy is solely dedicated to training him.””
It is only since this year that Munguia has been training with Reynoso, to be clear.
The two teamed up successfully following Munguia’s knockout loss which he faithfully avenged earlier this year recently in the rematch.
Let us see this thing shake out and play out naturally and not throw Munguia or Reynoso under the bus, following this news on Jaime Munguia.
Eddy Reynoso is one of the best boxing coaches on Earth and Oscar De La Hoya and others who are jumping the gun are wrong and unwise to throw shade at him.
