Now that the dust has settled on the fight ‘Tank’ has had a lot to say on what he believes went down.
The fight between Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach was scored a majority draw, prompting critics from boxers, in boxing and outside of the sport alike.
Davis has taken to X to speak on the fight the morning after the day before:
“They took the fight from me and made it a draw becuz I did that bull**** knee..but I landed the most punches in the fight..he didn’t even hit me w a punch when I took the knee. I get it though, I shouldn’t have done that but that hair grease was burning my eyes!”
The controversy came in round 9 when Davis took a knee that was not scored a knockdown.
