A Ryan Garcia vs Terence Crawford mega fight is a huge bout for the country and even for the entire sport around the planet.
Maybe it’d be one of the bigger fights in America, considering the success of Bud vs Canelo last September in Las Vegas.
Commercially a highly successful event but importantly it had proved to be a very entertaining scrap also, importantly. first and foremost.
Bud has been retired since though and left the sport unbeaten after such a bout, and event, for him and the sport.
He has done his analyst and pundit thing in America but in fairness, not very impressively. A capable fighter, a multi-division champion and a modern day great as a boxer in his particular era, but a poor analyst at times.
All Bud does these days is talk crap on social media and travels to strange places around the planet associating alongside very not liked people.
He maybe has a couple of things here and there that keep him busy but overall, he didn’t take to retirement that good, by the looks of it.
At least not yet. If he did look to comeback just for one big one, one big pay day, as he tries to get his life together in retirement and so on, the Ryan Garcia fight might be one that makes some sort of viability in all regards to him.
He might say, the Ryan Garcia chin is suspect, it has not been really test at 147 pounds and he might do such a fight at a catchweight of around 150 pounds or so, in theory.
The problem maybe lies in that Bud could have to make 147 pounds again to make such a fight and that might not tempt him at all, after beating Alvarez a year ago up at one hundred and sixty eight pounds.
The body might crash for Bud after such a move of going back to a division like 147 pounds and if he did roll the dice on that, it’d have to be a once off fight.
And that’s it then, call it a day and get something more productive going in his retirement because he is a very bad analyst in the sport to say the least.
The fight does huge numbers for both boxers obviously and big pay days but let’s see.
