Once defined by elusive speed and sharp reflexes, Tyson Fury has visibly declined. His comeback win over Makhmudov revealed a slower, more hittable fighter. With his punch resistance shot and his signature athleticism gone, he is finished at the elite heavyweight level.
Fury is giving it the big one at the moment on social media calling AJ a coward but he is in danger even fighting a shot Joshua even at this point.
Tyson The Gypsy King Fury in his day could switch hit, slip jabs and had brilliant movement for a big man, capable of even changing his style of boxing like he did to the Kronk style at one point later on alongside Sugar Hill.
But he needed his timing, speed and reflexes to do all that, they are shot as both comeback fights proved this year, some notes on this;
- His 2015 Klitschko blueprint relied on blinding speed and feints—that version no longer exists
- The Makhmudov comeback exposed a slower, two-dimensional fighter who struggled against a limited opponent
- His reflexes are gone; he no longer slips punches he once easily avoided
- The Wilder trilogy permanently drained his durability and took years off his career
- His punch resistance is shot—he cannot handle big shots from elite punchers anymore
- His legs are gone; he fades after six rounds and cannot maintain lateral movement
- Prince Naseem Hamed reversed his prediction, admitting Fury has physically dropped back
- He allowed Makhmudov to wrestle and land flush, proving he can no longer dictate pace
- His own father fears for his safety, saying he is past his peak and cannot fix his issues
- Without speed and reflexes, he is just a big man with an average jab—his style no longer works
That fight Tyson Fury had in Thailand recently against a Polish opponent totally shot at the highest level only proved the above further.
Fury can’t adapt his style anymore than he already did in terms of technical boxing either, Moses Itauma or someone like that knocks Fury out at this point.
Joshua vs Tyson Gypsy King Fury just a big fight in the UK basically, not in any other part of the globe.
Big lumps just at this stage that can hit, are tough, a bit tough at least, that is it.
Both their punch resistances are gone and they are shot at the highest level of professional boxing.
