Zepeda of Mexico proved yet again he belongs near the highest level of all of professional boxing versus Lamont Roach recently.
Zepeda defeated Roach by UD on points and outboxed, outfoxed and out hustled him in punch output and shots landed in there.
Many including us said not to sleep on his ability but still, some did, including Lamont Roach.
It had been evident recently.
Do not forget American Roach took Gervonta Davis to the brink of near defeat last year only in the sport.
The fight had been a stalemate but most thought Roach deserved to be victorious.
Zepeda only had the loss on his professional career to Shakur Stevenson, the only blemish he has to date actually against any fighter in all of professional boxing.
Zepeda at the end of the day is a tough fight for anyone out there in boxing.
He has that teak tough Mexican resolve but he can box and his punch volume is ferocious, he pushes such a pace on his opponents.
So much so he is in there in the top 10 pound for pound listings in our rankings at the moment.
He has to be one of the most underestimated fighters, still, in all of professional boxing.
He surely can gun for Shakur Stevenson again soon.
