In a strange move in recent boxing news Davis officially turned down an offer for the Devin Haney fight.
The fight should have been at 147 pounds among the US boxers but Davis backed down but why.

- Oscar De La Hoya called him part of a “softer generation” – alongside other legends who agreed this generation ducks smoke
- Bill Haney accused him of disappearing from negotiations – Davis responded with Instagram rants instead of signing
- Champion gets 75% – standard split for a challenger, nothing unusual
- Liam Paro immediately stepped in to take the fight – proving real fighters don’t need excuses
