Boxing brothers used to be a rarity in boxing but there is actually quite a few high level brothers in boxing at the moment:
- The Mason brothers
Americans Abdullah Mason and brothers Ibrahim and Abdurrahman. Abdullah leads the way out of them as a young champion at lightweight in the sport.
He knocked out Albert Bell last weekend in dramatic final round 12th round fashion on America’s 250th birhtday on July 4th 2026.
- The Vargas brothers
Americans Emiliano Vargas, Fernando Vargas Jr and Amado Vargas are going well in boxing at the moment. The sons of former world 154 pounds champion Fernando Vargas.
Emiliano being the leader of the brothers as an undefeated lightweight with a record of 18-0-12 KO at present.
- The Davis brothers
Americans Keyshawn Davis (former 140 pounds champion) and his brothers Kelvin and Keon Davis.
Keyshawn Davis leads his three brothers and as a standout amateur and professional so far, is even being talked about with fights against Devin Haney and others.
- The Russell brothers
Gary Russell Jr: The oldest and most accomplished brothers from Maryland in the US. A former featherweight world champion with hand speed and skill to burn.
Gary Antuanne Russell: Former Olympian and superlightweight champion.
Gary Antonio Russell: Bantamweight contender. Reached the final of the golden gloves as an amateur.
Gary Allan Russell: He looks after managerial and promotional aspects sometimes for the brothers.
Gary Isaiah Russell: Young prospect still training as a contender.
- The Charlo brothers
Jermall and Jermell Charlo used to be the kings of the best boxing brothers in boxing after the Klitschko brothers retired from the sport.
Not anymore.
The Charlo twins boxing brothers do not see eye to eye these days but remains forces when they used to compete regularly years ago.
Champions at super-weleterweight and middleweight in their day.
The Charlo boxer brothers are still competing on paper at the moment but on a limited basis.
- The Inoue brothers
For us the current best boxing brothers in all of boxing have to be the champion Inoue boxing brothers of Japan.
Naoya Inoue being the leader of the two as the the current pound for pound best boxer on Earth.
Fresh off his win over Junto Nakatani recently in Tokyo. Undefeated.
The father trains both Inoue brothers.
Takuma Inoue, the brother of Naoya Inoue, just defeated a four-weight world champ Kazuto Ioka.
Takuma Inoue is currently 22-2-0 with 5 knockouts in his professional boxing tenure to date.
