He is proposing that US boxer Jaron Ennis fight Josh Kelly of the UK.
Now, Kelly is a competent fighter and is a solid scrap for anyone at 154 pounds and is usually an entertaining match ups, to his credit.
But that fight is trash compared to what those in America and around the world are calling for.
They want to see Jaron Ennis really tested next up.
As despite his knockout win recently over weight drained, small punching, formerly undefeated champion at 154 pounds, Xander Zayas, he was exposed in many ways.
Jaron Ennis showed little defense and not only got hit a lot in the fight — he was badly stunned and hurt in the contest at one point.
People want to see him in there now with someone like Sebastian Fundora from the US or the winner of the Errol Spence vs Tim Tszyu fight in Australia later this month.
Or a long awaited showdown with his long-time rival and huge knockout artist Vergil Ortiz also based in the US like he is.
These are all far bigger fights for Jaron Ennis as well.
If he takes that Josh Kelly fight, he will be slammed by spectators around the world of boxing and rightly so.
Jaron Ennis must think twice and tell his promoter where to go or fire Hearn and hire a better promoter for himself instead.
