The Floyd Mayweather fight in Greece this month looks to be completely up in the air at the moment as new problems for him emerge.
First off, Mayweather has given boxing much entertainment as a sport over the years in the ring and in many cases, in the run up to many large events in the sport.
However, the end of his time in boxing looks all but set to happen shortly.
A company called CSI is the latest he is having problems with and without getting into latest reports, they were the ones it looks like he were behind trying to organize many of Mayweather’s fights in boxing.
Certainly the Mike Tyson exhibition fell through recently that was meant to happen last April.
And now they are looking at going further with Mayweather which could stop him having his fight in Greece in an exhibition later this month.
This comes at a time as well where Mayweather could have his passport taken away from him shortly as well by the US government.
Which will stop his ability to travel.
The Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao 2 fight has had no movement on it for months now and this is all coming at Mayweather at once.
A once gifted product of Michigan and the sport in America has now crumbled and began what looks like an airplane about to crash head on straight down into something shortly.
A real car wreck at the moment is Floyd Mayweather.
His promotional company in boxing does not have any new real prospects or new blood really coming through either and no major fighters have signed with him in some time that we know of.
He does look sharp for his age on the pads in training recently and has more ability than most by far still who compete between 147 to 154 pounds.
If he got in some shape to box over ten rounds he would beat maybe most of them.
But is the motivation for him there anymore to even do that?
You have to remember as well what everyone is reading at the moment is only a tiny fraction of what he is really going through.
Maybe only about 20 per cent of what Floyd Mayweather is actually dealing with and living through in a truly terrorizing time in his life beyond what he can even have imagined.
Floyd Mayweather used to light up the Las Vegas strip with his record-breaking, worldwide-box-office-hit and often — boxing expertise clinic performances in the ring.
With laser sharp counters, unmatched defence, dazzling hand-speed and in his younger days around the country, knockout power in his ‘Pretty Boy’ Floyd early days of professional boxing.
Before hand troubles and hand injuries caught up with him later on in his boxing tenure as a pro.
Then came the ‘Money’ Maweather persona that he crafted during an economic downturn at the time in the US after the banking collapse not long after the start of the 21st century.
Where he marketed himself as a villain in America to get people to buy his fights to see him lose.
The bright lights of Las Vegas and the MGM look a distant memory for him now. The applause of American boxing spectators a thing no more.
Now a struggling individual who has lost the aura he once had both in the ring and outside of it.
His carefully-worded and often avoiding a genuine response reactions to interviewer questions — simply does not wash with boxing as a sport anymore.
A distant time now for Mayweather to where he once was.
An enemy of Las Vegas and America now in many ways with so much mounting things coming at him all at once.
That villain persona he once created for himself in the ‘Money Mayweather’ character has now actually become a brutal reality for him in America.
Almost a self-fulfilling-prophecy for Floyd Mayweather manifesting now in live time.
Let that sink in.
