It’s the Keyshawn Davis hometown Norfolk return this weekend in the big boxing action in the USA and he needs to use that to his advantage.
He needs to use the energy and atmosphere in the crowd that should be there for him to his advantage.
A fight is a fight though and his opponent Albright will have tunnel vision on the task at hand. Noise is irrelvant.
Some notes on the Norfolk in Virginia connection for Keyshawn Davis for those new to boxing:
- Fight is at Norfolk Scope Arena.
- Norfolk is Davis’ hometown.
- Davis calls Norfolk “my people”.
- Davis said: “The Businessman is ready to handle business in front of my people”.
- Davis aims for sixth straight win at home.
- Event is May 16, 2026.
- Albright called it “enemy territory”.
- Norfolk crowd backs Davis.
- Davis kicks off Top Rank-DAZN era in Norfolk.
- Davis: “Norfolk, stand up–we’re putting on a show”.
Davis is 27 now and comes from a solid amateur background and that all started in Norfolk at the end of the day.
He’s back to his old stomping ground all these years later but now as a pro.
He’s boxed there once as a professional in 2024 before and won but that first one is out of the way now, we’d look to see him make a statement there this weekend.
