It looks almost done but not confirmed despite some reports.
If the fight was confirmed by fighters and their official proper channels would have announced it.
But it looks close though.
An exciting fight and a very tough one for Errol Spence if that is in fact his comeback fight.
He has been out of the ring for a long time of course for many years at this stage.
Following a car crash and a battering from one Terence Crawford.
A fight Spence didn’t rope a dope in either against Crawford. A real beating where Spence tried to fight hard with Crawford but he was taken apart.
Here’s the facts of the fight so far next up:
- Not officially confirmed — still “in the works” / “targeted” per sources (ESPN, Ring Magazine, etc.).
- Date: June 2026 (June 6 or 13 options).Location: Australia (venue TBD).Weight: Spence’s 154 lb debut vs. Tszyu.
- Promotion: PBC on Prime Video PPV.
- Tszyu tune-up: Planned for late March/April 2026 in Australia first.
- Status: Deal reportedly in place per sources; no announcement yet — remains rumor/expected stage.
If it happens in Australia that will only be an even much tougher fight again for Spence.
Australian fans will give him not a great welcome either, like most American fans in fact.
Even Texans are not that big supporters of Spence anymore for some reason.
Maybe because he has been out of action so long at this rate.
Recently Spence also talked here on fighting possibly the winner of Thurman and Fundora soon.
