Stevenson recently beat Teofimo Lopez in a one sided beat down. Easily.
He mentioned after that he will possibly go back down to in weight however afterwards.
Speaking to media in a press scrum this week Zab Judah said of a possible fight between the two:
“Come on, man. Hands down. You know that, man. I’m going to be real. Like, that’s a good fight. Like, Devin, that’s my guy. But I’m a real fan of Shakur. You know, Devin, that’s my guy. BHS family, but I’m a real fan of Shakur. I can’t make a pick ’cause I like Shakur. But damn, that’s my youngest, so you know, you know, I can’t go against him. That’s my godson. So, you know where I’m going. I ain’t got no choice.”
Stevenson will be fighting at a lower weight most possibly next.
Haney is the WBO welterweight champion so we don’t see the fight happening anytime soon.
