Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao has no limits.
An unstoppable man in boxing, business, life and civilization.
His latest move has gone a bit under the radar, he’s linking up with a thing called the Boxing League Team in the US.
Here’s what we know about it basically:
Team Boxing League (TBL) — U.S. pro boxing with team format:
- City teams with 24 fighters.
- Matches: 24 quick 3-minute rounds (one fighter per round vs. opponent).
- Scoring: Points per round added for team total.
- Winner: Team with highest points (not just KOs).
- Fast, team-based action with “Money Rounds” for drama.
Manny Pacquiao’s role (announced Feb 2026, through 2029):
- 2026: League Ambassador — promotes at events.
- 2027+: Partial owner of TBL.
- 2027+: Active fighter & Team Captain for San Diego TJ’s expansion team — fights in one-round format (age 47+ comeback for 8-division legend).
They are the facts on what we know so far.
The dynamics and inner workings of how it will work with Pacquiao not totally clear yet but will be shortly.
Pacquiao’s M.P. Promotions are already doing fights on Amazon Prime Video and ESPN Fight Night in the US lately and this year as well.
So presumably he will look to put some of the above fights on those networks or others as well.
Pacquiao is also the IBA Vice President now in amateur boxing as well.
As well as being an eight-division world champion actively competing at the highest level Hall of Fame inductee in boxing as well.
His next fight will be confirmed shortly.
