Ryan Garcia and Mario Barrios have had their first face off ahead of their big fight next month and things are getting lively already.
Barrios seems very focused and Garcia is back working for now at least with his up and down working relationship with promoter Oscar De La Hoya.
The two fighters squared up for the first time ahead of their fight for the WBC welterweight title on February 21st.
Barrios has the reach advantage in this one.
Garcia took time to jibe his boots however:
Garcia is coming into the fight like Barrios not in the best of form in the boxing ring.
Losing to Rolly Romero last year on points, he was flat and not his usual explosive self.
Barrios drew with Manny Pacquiao last year as well and will want to get rid of the draw quickly and get back to winning ways.
Garcia to us looks a little out of sorts in training as well recently — time will tell how he gets on.
