Conor Benn, One Of The Most Underestimated Warriors In Modern Boxing

When you survey the modern noble art landscape that is professional boxing there are plenty of fighters with great heart internationally in all the nations.

Pound for pound, boxing has maybe never been so competitive as it is now, the sport has many great contenders and fighters at prospect, title contention level and world champion level.

Many of them have great heart and spirit but one of the most underestimated for us at the moment has to be Conor Benn of the UK.

Benn showed incredible not only fighting spirit but brains to comeback from defeat earlier in 2025 in a defeat to Chris Eubank Jr on points to then absolute control the rematch recently, drop Eubank Jr and win a convincing unanimous points decision.

The heart he has shown in his training has been impressive, consistently improving himself as a fighter, year in, year out.

Conor Benn, One Of The Most Underestimated Warriors In Modern Boxing

We remember the early days of the Conor Benn career and even then he was explosive, powerful, his body punches excellent.

But he has really come along now with his engine, his gas tank is championship level for the twelve rounds and he is getting stronger ina fight as time goes on, sign up a world champion in the making.

His punch selection has vastly improved and he is getting on the nerves of his rivals like Ryan Garcia and others which is a sign he is doing something right.

What’s more, he now is a big sell in the UK and internationally as well as shown by those two fights with Chris Eubank Jr.

Both sold out stadiums in the UK and did excellently as events and shows, his fan base and brand continues to grow.

His boxing has improved much and he is more a boxer-puncher now then when he was a rugged come forward fighter mostly that he was in the beginning of his professional tenure in prize fighting (professional boxing).

He is now on the cusp of a world title shot after that Chris Eubank Jr rematch avenging victory and it is well deserved obviously.

Conor Benn has shown tenacity and propensity to keep getting better as a fighter right the way through, brilliant fighter and he can become a much more accomplished boxer than his father if he wants at this point.
