Before Jake Paul came along the sport of boxing had never ever even been on the world’s biggest streaming company Netflix.
Paul made some mistakes of course, everyone does in that promotion game when they are starting out.
He’s a very young man as well of course.
Maybe one of the most famous people in America today as well, with a good work ethic and a good brain and an excellent spirit and heart about him.
Couple that with the fact he lives in America.
We love America but many don’t of course around the world, because of the slime and shady people behind the scenes in America not just in boxing but in society
are garbage to be thrown in the bin.
Paul has done all that while living in America at the moment in these times when these people are getting cut down not just by the government either.
How Jake Paul Exposed Elements Of Boxing’s Formerly Broken System
So, what he did, to come along to boxing, particularly in these times as well, to shine light on many of the flaws some elements of contracts have for boxers and managing to bring the world’s largest commercial streaming giant to the sport, while helping a boxing legend (Mike Tyson) get a pay day on their first trial run (which worked out hugely for Netflix for sign ups by the way) — has been excellent.
What he also did, if you look at it as well, is he put more pressure on big promoters and networks to work together more than what they had been doing.
Do you think it just a coincidence that since Jake Paul came to professional boxing that all the big promoters, managers and TV companies are now working tougher in recent years more than ever?
Of course not.
He disrupted everything with Netflix in the sport as a first mover with them.
With respect, Netflix are not some small TV company in some small not particularly powerful on the world stage island place like Ireland or Puerto Rico or some place like that.
They are literally America’s and the planet’s number one commercial streaming and broadcasting online network now on the entire planet.
You’re talking about the big leagues here buddy.
The highest level.
Jake Paul did that first for boxing.
By bringing Netflix to boxing he forced all the other people and companies in boxing to look in the mirror at their own shortcomings and sink or swim.
Boxing is swimming now — that’s for sure.
Say what you want about him as a boxer, you can’t knock what he’s done for the sport to grow it or the opportunities he’s provided for boxers.
Ask the boxers — they will say the same.
Fearless Paul.
Here’s why we think some want to see Paul vs Joshua.
