The UFC do many things well that the sport of boxing can learn from directly and indirectly but there is much more than meets the eye on what is next.
Oh yes.
Boxing soon will be going back to the masses and the UFC, as the world’s premier fight promoter (of all time) is now all in and promoting boxing properly.
Why wouldn’t they?
Boxing is a bigger sport internationally in the East and West.
UFC is valued at $20 billion but boxing as an industry and sport could be worth in the ball park of $30 billion.
That is being modest too. It really is though.
When you see how professional boxing is expanding into the East and with all the new companies and governments now interested in investing in the sport, it is possibly a bit higher than that if you add up everything in terms of what the sport generates for cities and countries around the world when big events happen.
What UFC Can Do To Help Pro Boxers Similar To How They Do In Vegas
Boxing does way more events as an industry in professional boxing does than the UFC.
So if you add up all the added revenues from the far higher number events, and take into account hotels, bars, restaurants and other benefits cities and countries get every week around the world because of big boxing events happening everywhere now, it is a lot.
Hence why professional boxing is a much bigger sport than the UFC and MMA (mixed martial arts).
But the UFC does a lot of things over the last decade better than boxing.
One thing the UFC has called the Sports Performance Institute in Las Vegas is outstanding, in terms of athlete repair from training and fights and sports science and nutrition and physical injury repair for fighters.
It is a game changer for the UFC in recent years and for fighters in the UFC.
On the sorts PI facility, if they can allow boxers use it as well before big fights in Las Vegas it will be a huge advantage to events they do in boxing in Vegas.
Bringing more training teams from boxing to Vegas and sharing knowledge in these areas between both sports.
It will be a big help to professional boxers and their teams, and to the boxers TKO and Zuffa Boxing sign soon.
