They say the house always wins but for the first time ever basically casinos in Las Vegas have not been doing great financially over the last few years.

That is very, very, very strange.

Highly unusual.

The US dollar been down this long in the international market is as well.

Equally very unusual.

This obviously effects everything including boxing as sometimes fighters purses are paid in US dollars and if the dollar is not doing good, instead of getting paid say $20 million dollars in US for a fight, they could choose to get paid twenty million euros instead or even twenty million UK pounds instead, depending what is doing better in the market at the time.

That’s up to the fighters and just being smart.

But the dollar won’t stay down like this forever of course.

Especially with Trump bringing in twenty trillion new US dollars in investment alone to America in 2025 (20 times the wealth of Elon Musk).

Boxing now is coming into a huge expansion time in the East, but also in the West in some places as well, and Las Vegas traditionally is the fight capital of the world.

Big fights have happened there this year with Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford in one of the great stadium boxing events for the State, the country and indeed for the entire sport.

But boxing needs to put more of them on, bigger events, on a hugely frequent basis.

More of this will come now with TKO and Zuffa Boxing now in boxing promoting the sport, the UFC basically are promoting boxing through them and Dana White of the UFC was the lead promoter of the Alvarez vs Crawford recent event.

The UFC are based in Las Vegas for their HQ so this makes perfect sense now for them to start rolling out more big boxing events both in Las Vegas and in the State of Nevada.

Other promoters like Bob Arum of Top Rank has had problems recently and so has advisor Al Haymon, same with fading promoter Oscar De La Hoya in Vegas as well.

Now is the time for the UFC and TKO soon enough to strike at some point with better and bigger boxing events in the city and State, soon enough, the time will be perfect.

Particularly with Paramount on board now in boxing, as well as Netflix, DAZN and more too.
