Jake Paul is a fledging professional boxer but there’s much more to him than just that or any other buzz words that pointless labels try to portray him as.
Influencer, YouTuber, celebrity boxer, internet streamer, these tags never stick and are lazy always out of use before they are adopted by the masses, often perpetuated and created by people that can’t create anything and are inwardly angry sad loses, that’s the evil animal far left, now thankfully in rapid decline towards its oblivion in the East and West as Elon Musk predicted it would be.
Boxing exists of course in the wider world and its attempt at cultures and garbage buzz words but boxing like all professional sport is a live inventory based sport based on live sporting event both in venue and on screen, between TV in the old days but now online.
Jake Paul is a part of the wider boom in online and streaming in recent years and in influencers and if there’s anyone who has promoted these things without trying more than anyone, it is him.
But there’s more to him than that.
Why Jake Paul Cannot Be Stopped
He takes on Anthony Joshua next in the ring but there’s more going on here.
Really, he’s the ultimate promoter when you look at what he’s done.
Not only of himself and his own brand but his new company MVP and the brands of fighters signed to there.
The events he has done have been outstanding for the most part and it was Jake Paul who brought Netflix to boxing first, not anyone else, a trail blazer.
Now, fast forward, Netflix have been proved right on their bet on Jake Paul and boxing as the sport soon is set to go into outer space levels of success and back to its great days of being watched by the masses like in the 1980s and even 1930s and before the second world war.
Netflix have seen massive amounts of sign ups because of boxing as part of their wider offering of products to the masses in the East and West.
The fact they’ve chosen boxing as their number one premier sport, not any other, during their launch of Netflix Sports, and Jake Paul got professional boxing onto Netfix, is sublime.
Don King, Dana White, Floyd Mayweather, Muhammad Ali (another great promoter)Eddie Hearn with respect didn’t do that for the sport of boxing.
Jake Paul did.
Let that sink in.
