Devin Haney On Why He'S Moving Up In Weight

Devin Haney bids to become a three-weight world champion later this month but is up against it in a heck of a champion in boxing.

That is of course Brian Norman Jr.

Everyone in boxing knows him but he is still making a name for himself outside of boxing as well.

Haney moves up to 147 pounds to challenge for Norman’s WBO welterweight title.

Speaking on a DAZN build up show ahead of the fight on November 22nd, Devin Haney revealed:

“I’ve been killing myself to make the smaller weight classes. I’m just a naturally bigger guy and I feel so much better this camp. Last camp I felt great but this camp I feel even better. I feel stronger. I feel like you know — more of my natural self.”

Time will tell.

He will punch harder and be stronger and may have a better gas tank but speed should be his advantage in this one.

Brian Norman Jr is not to be played with though and will be bringing the heat in this one.

Great scrap in store later this month.
