Both Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley put on one hell of a fight in the heavyweight division this weekend in the UK.
It was a fight that surely most that Parker would win going into it based on form and the fact he was a man rejuvenated in recent years under trainer Andy Lee.
He lost by 11th round TKO to Wardley this weekend but gave plenty of heavy hits himself before the time of the stoppage.
Joseph Parker And Wardley Exchange Bombs
This moment here maybe the pick of some of the toe to toe back and forth action at one point:
Some great fighting by both there, some thought the Wardley stoppage over Parker was a little early but neither fighter can be knocked.
Two unbreakable warrior fighting men who are a credit to themselves and the sport of boxing with that fight this weekend.
Wardley surely moves onto very big fights next up now.
He won’t be far away likely from a world title shot at some point as Parker was himself before this weekend.
Wardley only started actually boxing at 20 years of age, ten years ago, and at 30 now, is still relatively young for a heavyweight.
Considering how long pro boxers are fighting on for these days with sports science.
