Joseph Parker Reacts To Fabio Wardley TKO Defeat

Joseph Parker came up short against Fabio Wardley but in what some thought slightly controversial circumstances in what was a great fight.

The former WBO heavyweight champion Parker from New Zealand gave a valiant effort, as he always does.

Some very heavy hits were exchanged by both men until the referee called halt to the action in round 11 in favor of Wardley, many thought it was stopped too soon however.

After the fight at the press conference Parker said:

“He was tired, I’m sure he was very tired, you know, throwing all his punches. He caught a few shots and missed a lot too, but it is what it is.”

Both fighters looked to have thrown a lot of heavy punches in the fight and showed some fatigue as things were coming down the stretch.

Parker will surely be back but credit to Wardley on the win this weekend.

Heck of a win that not many will have seen coming.
