There has been another great addition to the Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford card and he is training with the legendary Freddie Roach here.

That is super welterweight ‘King’ Callum Walsh from Ireland of course.

People wanted to see him stepped up early in his unbeaten boxing career as a pro and that in fact is what is now happening.

They are putting Calum Walsh in with a real dangerman next up already in the form of son of boxing legend and world champion Fernando Vargas’ son, Fernando Vargas junior. Callum Walsh is 13-0 and Vargas Junior is 17-0 so someone’s 0 has got to go. Walsh is training ferociously with Freddie Roach:

The fight is just around the corner now on September 13th and Walsh is going in there with a young unbeaten fighter like himself. If he were to win it would say a lot and put out a big statement. It is safe to say the winner of Walsh vs Vargas junior by all accounts will fight for a world title at some point shortly.

Walsh looks to be taking a page out of the relentless Canelo training regime at the moment. Roll on the big fight.
