There has been a slight delay in the Usyk vs Joseph Parker fight talks with some suggesting Usyk doesn’t want the fight but not the case.
The fight is still under discussion and the fight is still the leading candidate for Oleksandr Usyk to take next up.
He’s the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and can do what he wants, obviously.

The reason for the delay is Sky Sports have now said that Usyk has asked for an extension to the talks due to injury he is dealing with at the moment.
That’s all.
The parties have plenty of time to agree to the fight and Usyk will surely submit the appropriate medical information to the injury.
The fight is an excellent one and outside of Tyson Fury, one of the most dangerous in all of boxing for Usyk.
Parker clearly wants the Usyk fight.
