The UFC, WWE and Dana White will promote big time professional boxing next month for the first time in Canelo vs Crawford live on the world’s biggest streaming company – Netflix.
The super fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford in Las Vegas on September 13th is a big day for professional boxing.
Given the sheer commercial size of the event with all of the above and Netflix as well.
TKO Boxing is the outfit that White, Turki Alalshikh and Nick Khan are using to promote the event.
This from Boxing Kingdom on the X platform may explain a few things for boxing fans that they were not aware of however:
“TKO Sports President Mark Shapiro has stated that Zuffa Boxing has received significant interest for their media rights and they will have “something to announce soon”. Zuffa boxing is led by Dana White.”
TKO Boxing is only one part of the TKO Sports group, and Zuffa Boxing is a different entity in the group.
To clear things up a little bit for boxing fans.
TKO Sports was created as part of a merger between the UFC and WWE back in 2023.
