Anthony Yarde is the current light-heavyweight contender that is being put in front of world champion David Benavidez next up.
Yarde from the UK has fought some of the best light-heavyweights of his era of course.
Growing up it was the one and only Roy Jones that inspired him.
Speaking to Cigar Talk, Anthony Yarde said on inspiration growing up watching boxing:
“You know, I come from the era of watching Roy Jones and seeing these guys and saying, “Yeah, when I first got into boxing, I didn’t know too much about weight classes.”
He knows about weight classes now, knows more than enough about them.
Yarde takes on David Benavidez next up on November 22nd in Saudi Arabia.
