Some sparring footage surfaced of him and rival Teofimo Lopez recently from Lopez’ side and Shakur Stevenson said on the X platform of it:
“Teo posting that clip lowkey fire even tho it ain’t show no punches being landed but it just shows it’s gone be some high level s*** going on, S*** kinda getting me excited set the fight up!! Let’s do it. 4 division champ s*** I’m down lmao”
A Lopez vs Stevenson fight would be a great scrap at some point if it can be put together.
Time will tell, the interest in America and worldwide is there in the fight.
Both boxers surely have zero hesitation in taking the fight if the numbers are right.
