A 46 year old Manny Pacquiao once again made the impossible possible as we and many others in boxing said he could do.

And do that he did.

He made the impossible possible once more by drawing with Mario Barrios last weekend and many thought he should have been given the decision.

Speaking on social media on the X platform Pacquiao broke the silence on the draw saying:

“Thank you Lord for keeping us safe in the ring. I want to thank my wife, my kids, my family, my team and everyone who supported me throughout this fight. To Mario Barrios, you are a true warrior. It was an honor to share the ring with you. Even after all these years, I felt great in the ring. I thank God for the strength and grace to still compete at this level. To all my fans around the world, especially my fellow Filipinos, thank you for your love, prayers, and support. This may not have been the result we wanted, but I gave my best and I will always fight with heart, for God, for family, and for country. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas. To God be all the glory”

No one thought it was possible to do what he did at 46 years young last weekend but it was more than possible.

A class act as always from Pacquiao on the reaction above.

Surely a rematch between Pacquiao and Barrios will be forthcoming in due course.
